Educational materials adaptation

Accessible resources and activities designed so that each learner can understand, participate and demonstrate what they know.

Adapt without losing the goal

Effective adaptation begins by identifying what is to be taught or assessed. We then analyse the barriers in the original material and select more appropriate forms of presentation, participation and response.

Work may focus on one specific resource or on a set of activities linked to educational planning.

What can be adapted

  • Worksheets, instructions and curriculum activities;
  • Reading, writing and mathematics materials;
  • Visual, hands-on and multisensory resources;
  • Alternative forms of response and assessment;
  • Graphic organisation, contrast, font size and amount of information;
  • Activities for communication, autonomy and participation.

How we work

We gather information about the learner, goals, context of use and available resources. The proposal is built with clear criteria, shared with those who will use it and, when agreed, reviewed after use.

One-off adaptation or development is quoted according to complexity, quantity and deadline.
